Bill lives anything racing related. Currently building a 1987 Mustang for X275. Combo will be a 363 Big Bore with a Procharger F1R.

NMRA invaded Atco Raceway this past weekend for the third event this year. Friday’s eliminations were cut short due to a torrential down pour of rain! By Saturday the weather had cleared up and it made for some great racing. Records were broken and upsets would be found all the way through to the finals.


Cecil County in Rising Sun Maryland hosts the Outlaw Street Car Shootout sponsored by Finishline Performance every first Saturday of the month starting in April and running through November. The second race of the season was a hot one! The weather was beautiful and the stands were packed to see big hitters such as Chuck Ulsch, Mo Hall, Larry Wood, Chris Evans, and Joe Newsham to name a few were out trying to make it to the winner’s circle in the second race of the season.

Since it is now April race season is among us! An Outlaw 275 Radial class has been added to the mix along with the other classes that run like Outlaw 10.5, Outlaw Radial, Outlaw 8.50 Index, and Outlaw 7.50 Index.


The 275 is class that is making big waves right now and the cars running are becoming more and more competitive with the creative combos thought up by the racers. At each race you’ll see Fords, Dodges, and Chevy’s all in the low 5 second range in the 1/8th mile. Inside we overview some of the highlights of the class, including rules and key contenders.
