Innovate Motorsports’ new MTX Dual Function Gauges are four gauges: three are dual function, consisting of oil pressure/oil Temp, water temp/voltage, and a boost/shift light. The fourth gauge is a exhaust gas temp gauge, which doesn’t require a secondary function.

There’s something that aches in our soul for lost drag strips. Not because we raced there or wasted hours wandering the pits, but because we never will. We caught wind of this home video of some awesome drag racing action at New York National Drag Strip taken in May of 1969.

Building a car at C.A.R.S. is a lot more than just getting Chrismans name on your ride. Observing the array of rods and engines, I realized that this place is a car guy’s dream factory. If you can think it up, its not only likely that Chrisman can make it happen, he’s probably done it before.
The men who made drag racing a corporate battlefield, the legendary Ramchargers, are scheduled to be reunited again and inducted into the East Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame on Sunday, October 16, at the Vance Granville Civic Center in Henderson, North Carolina. Building a hard-hitting engine is always the flashy, fun thing to talk about, but without the proper gearbox to back up all that power, you’re big and brash big block won’t have anywhere to go. We’re working on Killer Kong’s powertrain a little backwards to emphasize how crucial the rest of the package is.
Rather than yet another formulaic play-by-play of the three-day auction at the Orange County Fair Grounds in Costa Mesa, CA., I wanted to show the “art” that makes these awesomely unique and beautiful machines worth all the money they’re pulling in. It’s all in the details they say, so that’s what I focused on.

Jason took some creative liberties and inked this cool rendering of our T7 Bronze R/T Charger yanking the front skinnies just like Mr. Landy did so long ago.

We love all things 1970s drag racing; the wild paint schemes, the unique hand-lettering, the in-your-face hood scoops, the droves of attendees (where did they all go?), and the mechanical cackle of those nitro-burning high-compression HEMI-headed big blocks.
Meet Melissa Hayes; a bit of tom boy and girly girl mixed into a sweet and sassy package, Melissa was an absolute kick to have on our photoshoot. That’s probably because she was nice enough to laugh at our jokes.
With the help of Mr. Rocky Nash and his brilliantly custom ’37 Ford two-door sedan and his amazingly clean ’32 Ford roadster built by Bobby Alloway for the “Shades of The Past” show, we had a great afternoon photographing this month’s model, Bree de Encio.
A local terror around Upstate New York, this Chevy is known for an all-time best ET of 8.68-seconds at 156mph with a 5.55-second eight mile! That adds up to a wild 0-to-60 time of 2.5-seconds.
Driven by Larry Quinn, this Nostalgia Super Stock ’62 Pontiac (titled “Blast From The Past”), this heavy-hitting Poncho definitely packs one heck of a punch. Quinn drove the Pontiac to a huge win with a 8.95-second pass at 147.8 miles per hour.
Spotted over on Craigslist.com, current owner, Derrick Allbritton has also got a Facebook page documenting the Sharkdragster as well as plenty of other unique creations – all of which are for sale to the highest bidder! What a steal!
