At the debut event for the new X-treme Drag Racing League Eric Dillard made his own incredible history by reaching a monumental turbocharger milestone. Racing in the X-DRL’s Precision Turbo & Engine Pro Turbo class, the Pro Line Racing Co-Owner became the first turbo driver in drag racing history to reach the 3.
The U.S. Street Nationals at the Bradenton Motorsports Park in central Florida has become one of the annual kickoff events of the drag racing season, as some of the quickest and fastest doorslammer racers in the world get out and stretch their legs for the first time after the grueling winter.

Race Wrap: Shakedown Has Its Usual Crazy And Crazy-Good Excitement
The 10th annual Shakedown Nationals at Raceway Park in Englishtown, N.J. once again lived up the billing of the exciting, record-breaking affair that the racing world expected, and we bring you all the big happenings and news out of one of the biggest and baddest drag races in the world.
The Shakedown Nationals, the brainchild of David Hance of New York Motorsports and one of doorslammer drag racing’s preeminent events, returns to historic Raceway Park in Englishtown for the 10th year, and once again, some of the heaviest hitters in the sport are expected to to be on hand to battle it out.
Gateway Motorsports Park hosted the Super Chevy Show over the weekend and highlighting the show were the 10.5 Outlaw and Outlaw Drag Radial classes — one of which was actually won a Ford-powered Mustang among a seas of “bowties”.
The Chris Duncan Pro Mod Super Series was set for exciting final round with Dan Stevenson fresh off of a 3.97 second run and “Fast” Eddie Rogers posting a 4.01 in the semi-final round. It was all for naught though as rains would move into the area shortly after washing out the event.
“Fast” Eddie Rogers would claim event victory in the Chris Duncan Race Cars Pro Mod Super Series at the Doorslammer Shootout at Eddyville Raceway Park on Saturday night in a weekend that produced tough conditions.

It is the first race of the PSCA season right here in sunny southern California. The initial season opener was suppose to happen in Las Vegas, though it was canceled due to weather. This race will not have the Pro Street class in attendance as local noise ordinance laws has forced Fontana to build a sound wall.
