Blower Drive Service Co. (B.D.S.) started in 1969 in a one-car garage located in Southern California, and it has evolved into one of the foremost leaders in supercharging today. BDS has sold thousands of blower systems all over the world for all types of applications.
Norma Iskendarian, General Manager of B.D.S., was pleased to present their new Xcelerator Adapter. Ideal for nostalgia racing, monster trucks, competition or street applications, this adapter gives the optimum in fuel/air delivery with its accelerated angle. This is specially engineered to gain higher air/fuel volume in order to increase the “RAM” effect into your blower systems which then results in more horsepower. The B.D.S. Xcelerator adaptor is made from 6061-T6 billet aluminum material and is available in a black hard anodized or a polished finish. It is two inches tall and is o-ringed for a total seal on the top and bottom. This adaptor has been drilled and tapped for 4 nozzle bodies on each side and includes hardware. It has been custom fitted to adapt on top of all blowers with a standard GM top opening and can be used with either a mechanical or electronic bugcatcher or birdcatcher injector.
Norma also showed us the new Pro-loc rotor supercharger. The Pro-loc features a 120 degree helix twist for optimum efficiency and increased boost. This new blower also includes a redesigned heavy duty snout to prevent belt deflection. The Pro-loc is now available for 671, 871, 1471 and 1671 models.
