Making big power with your engine can be easy, but you have to move enough fuel to feed your beast. The new Fuelab 47401 high efficiency twin screw style fuel pump is a unit that can move large volumes of fuel with ease.

Fuelab went with a bullet-proof twin screw rotor pumping mechanism to work with this new pump. The 47401 runs at a much higher efficiency so it has a much lower current draw and produces less noise. This new design also has a much higher resistance to cavitation that can cause vapor lock.

Fuelab’s Ron Scharfenberg understands what racers need, and made sure the 47401 can get the job done. “The pump is full billet and has a DC brushless motor that has an extremely high level of reliability. It is able to support over 1,250 horsepower while running continuously and not needing a speed controller. It’s able to flow 500 LPH, can run up to 45 PSI, and has a 125 PSI mas operating pressure.”

The 47401 is able to flow many different fuels including gasoline, diesel, methanol, and even ethanol. There is no limit to what the 47401 can work with since it can feed enough fuel for any power-adder system and fuel injection with ease.

Currently the pump is going through final testing now and will be available in spring of 2017.
