The Promax from Nitrous Outlet is filled with tons of great features that hardcore class racers and weekend warrior racers can love. Nitrous Outlet’s Brian Havins sheds some light on several of the great items built into the Promax. “Our new Promax Progressive Controller offers two separate stages that can be individually controlled. It will also allow for six pre-set saved tunes. The unit will have a LCD touch screen as an option, or it can be programed with a lap top,” Havins explains.

The Promax also offers a built in data logger that will control up to eight channels of information. The unit will have 70 amp solenoid drivers built in along with built in wide band input. To help keep your engine safe Nitrous Outlet added a system that senses if there is a problem with the nitrous flow. “You can run solenoid on one channel, and the other on another. If the Promax senses a lean condition it will add more fuel or nitrous depending on the situation,” Havens explains.

If all of that wasn’t enough, the Promax will allow the nitrous ramp to be restarted if there is a traction issue. “It will have a re-start feature so if you’re making a pass and you have to pedal the car it can bring the nitrous back in based on where you were, or start the ramp over,” Havens says.
