Many in the Ford performance market have long relied on the performance and quality of Trick Flow’s line of cylinder head offerings for the 351 Cleveland and Windsor-based Clevor-style engines, and here at SEMA, are showcasing their new intake manifolds for use with both of these blue oval engine combinations. Available in both a fuel-injected and carbureted design, these cast aluminum intakes are computer modeled and tested to deliver excellent air/fuel distribution and velocity for increased horsepower and torque.

The carbureted Track Heat intakes also offer some flexibility, with injection bungs and mounting points for the fuel rails incorporated into the casting, giving the option to move to EFI or plumb in nitrous while retaining the same manifold.

The EFI R-Series intakes feature runner lengths and a cross-sectional taper tuned for street-strip engines that operate in the 2,500 to 7,250 RPM range. The Box-R-Series feature a large plenum/short runner design that maximizes short mid-to high-RPM power and torque, ideal for boosted, nitrous, and racing applications producing power in the 3,000 to 8,000 RPM window.

The Track Heat single plane intakes are also designed for street-strip applications that operate in the 3,000 to 7,000 RPM range. These feature a high-rise, one-piece spider design with high-flowing individual extended runners for big improvements in horsepower and torque. Also, the raised plenum floor increased flow velocity and fuel atomization.
