Popular Englishman Andy Frost passed along a new rendering that was recently done up by Power Race Graphics showing off his 1972 Vauxhall VX4/90 FD Pro Modified venture that is currently in the construction phase and moving along at a steady pace.

Work on the much-anticipated and well-publicized car has been moving along nicely, and Andy has been gracious enough to share regular updates and images in great detail on its progress. Everyone enjoys following a car build – especially one this cool. The chassis itself is taking shape, along with some of the drivetrain and suspension components at the Webster race Engineering shop. The team has fabricated the four-link and installed the rear shocks, anti-roll bar, and a Tim McAmis fully-floating 9.5” rear. Much of the fiberglass body has been fitted to the chassis as well.

The construction progress hit a minor snag late last week when the crew realized that the front end wasn’t quite long enough to accommodate the fuel tank without the front spoiler bulging out. Thus, the nose had to go under the knife and lengthened 6 inches and narrowed an inch to match the taper of the body. A new mold for the front end is being created and Andy and the Webster crew hope to be back in business in a couple weeks.
