Classic Instruments has announced a partnership with two-time NHRA Pro Stock champion Jason Line. The performance gauge maker and Line’s Summit Racing KB Racing team have worked closely with Classic Instruments in the development of their new Performance Series gauges.
Available in six styles, the 2 5/8 inch gauges feature a full-sweep face that is easy to read in the heat of competition. They also have a programmable warning light that illuminates the entire face when a chosen temperature or pressure is exceeded, plus an analog 5-4.5VDC output to connect the gauges to a data logging system.
The full sweep performance gauges are available in AutoCross (Gray or Yellow), G-Stock, Hot Rod, Velocity Black, Velocity White, and White Hot. In addition to the easy to read full sweep gauge faces, each style is visually pleasing and helps the instrument cluster make a statement in the vehicle’s interior.
“The entire team at Classic Instruments is proud to sponsor Jason and the KB Racing team at the biggest race of the year, the U.S. Nationals,” said John McLeod, owner of Classic Instruments. “Working with Jason and the team was key in the development of our new Performance Series instruments. KB Racing lives and breathes racing, so they know what the racer wants and needs. The team’s race cars gave us the perfect platform to test our products in the real world.”
“I’m thrilled to have Classic Instruments as a partner,” said Line. “Its gauges have a great reputation, and the KB Racing team jumped at the chance to help develop the new Performance Line gauges. They are rugged, provide accurate readings and have features racers will love.”
