There are some amazing deals on the internet these days, and this my friends, is one of them! This ’69 Mustang fastback sports a full steel body, stock frame rails and the original color from Ford. In 2007, this car won “Best in Class” at World of Wheels in Boston, Mass., but don’t make the mistake of thinking this car is only for show. It’s been as quick as 8.15 at 171 MPH with owner Jack Pereira at the wheel, and is currently setup to race in either NMCA Extreme Street or X275.
The chassis is a certified chrome moly SFI 25.5 spec, built by Tube Chassis Designz. Front and rear adjustable coil-over shocks with a ladder bar rear suspension and the optional wheelie bars, round out the chassis.
Under the hood resides a monster 522 cubic inch Big Block Ford, with an A460 engine block, Bryant custom billet crank, GRP 2000 aluminum rods, CP pistons, TFS A460 heads and intake manifold, with a custom built Dominator carburetor. If that wasn’t enough, its also equipped with a custom, single stage fogger nitrous system with a progressive nitrous controller. The rest of the powertrain consists of a Dedenbear-cased powerglide and a 35-spline Strange 9-inch housing.
Another unique feature that will really set this car apart from others, is the autographed dashboard. Signed by John Force, Tim Wilkerson, Bob Tasca III AND the late Bob Tasca Sr. So, if you’re in the market for a heads up race car that runs 8’s in the 1/4 mile and the ability to win car shows…. this might just be the car for you!
