The Dirty South No Prep Racing Series (DSNP) is bringing the best in No Prep racing to Hub City Dragway in Hattiesburg, Mississippi March 31-April 1st. The series rolls into its second season with a ton of momentum and the racers are ready to go at it in their quest to be number one for 2017. SpeedVideo.com will broadcast all the racing LIVE when it begins right here!
Mike Murillo and Scott Taylor have set up season two of the DSNP to be even better than the first with bigger payouts, new tracks, and a whole lot more. This series was the first of its kind in the No Prep world when it comes to crowning a champion, adding a whole new layer of legitimacy to this style of racing.
Fans will be treated to the superstars of No Prep racing at the DSNP season opener. Besides last year’s champions, racers like Kye Kelley, Birdman, The 55, Jerry Bird, Kayla Morton, Scott Taylor, Mike Murillo, The Godfather, Da Hellion, Helleanor, Plan B, The Bangston Boyz and Boosted GT will all be on the property. All of these racers will be ready to throw down at Hub City to try to score an early season points lead.
On Friday night things will be getting rowdy with Big Tire and Small Tire classes having their own Cash Days races. This will be a winner-take-all event for the racers and only the strongest will be in the money round trying to win the whole pot. Besides the Cash Days there will also be lots of high-stakes grudge racing that will be exciting, for sure.
Spectators will also have the opportunity to have some fun with their favorite drivers at the event. There will be a Friday Night Practice Tree Challenge where the fans can take on their No Prep heroes on a pro tree for prizes. Fans will also have the chance to get the ultimate No Prep experience by scoring a ride-along on the track at different times during the event.
There will also be a vendor midway with some of the biggest names in the aftermarket industry like HP Motorsports, VP Racing Fuels, Strange Engineering, SpeedTech, Wolfe Industries, Nitrous Express, Pro-Flow, and Racetech. There will also be a Saturday afternoon swap meet and car show for fans to check out to add even more entertainment.
Last year the champions weren’t decided until the semifinals or later during the final race, so all of the racers will be fighting for every point they can starting at the season opener. The drama and thrills will be dialed all the way up starting at Hub City, so fans are in for a real treat when the DSNP begins the 2017 season!
