So far, the 2017 NMCA season has been action-packed and filled with some of the best doorslammer racing in the country. At the NMRA/NMCA All-Star Nationals, there were some huge performances, including Adam Flamholc smashing the Xtreme Pro Mod record multiple times. Now, all the stars of the NMCA are ready to invade Beech Bend in their quest for an NMCA championship.
One of the biggest shootout races of the NMCA season will be held at the Bluegrass Nationals: the Dave Duell Nostalgia Super Stock Classic. This special event will feature all of the classic Detroit musclecars of the NMCA battling it out for their chance to win $4,000 in cash. There will also be payouts for class eliminations, and an FX Class Shootout, so there will be plenty of great old-school racing to see.
The Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series will be kicking off its season as part of the 2017 Bluegrass Nationals. This series features cars that are powered by GM’s LS and LT engine platform and provide thrilling racing. There will be heads-up racing action with the Drag Radial and Real Street classes, where the quickest LS-powered cars compete, and the index racing will be intense when the Street King and Rumble classes hit the track. There will also be the always-popular True Street category, so those with street cars can be a part of the event.
The 16th Annual Quick Fuel Technology NMCA Bluegrass Nationals will also feature all the other great NMCA racing categories like Xtreme Pro Mod, Street Outlaw, Radial Wars, Nitrous Pro Street, Xtreme Street, N/A 10.5, and many more. As always there will be car shows all weekend a swap meet, and huge vendor midway to find all the parts you need for any project you might have!
