These days, in the automotive industry the majority of car builders are moving away from carbureted applications in order to get a taste of fuel injection and the vast technological advantages that come with it. The problem most have with EFI systems is not knowing how to properly tune them for everyday driving or high horsepower track applications. The people at FAST have teamed up with EFI University to create a new training course on fuel injection to make getting your feet wet in fuel injection easy. The course will be specific to the setting up and tuning of the FAST XFI Fuel Injection System, and all the knowledge you need to know will be crammed into one full day.
When & Where
Class #1: COMP Performance Group Facilities, Memphis, TN – May 8th, 2010
Class #2: Westech Performance, Mira Loma, California – June 26th, 2010
Class #3: T.B.A
Class #4: T.B.A
These courses will be taught by EFI instructor and author Ben Strader, tuning guru and racer Brian Macy, as well as members of the FAST technical support staff. The class will focus on a wide variety of topics to educate people from seasoned tuners all the way to very first timers. It is also a great course for speed shop owners, EFI installers, performance enthusiasts, novice tuners, and racers. The students will learn everything from phasing a distributor all the way to using the XFI’s optional Intelligent Traction Control at the track.
Four different classes are planned for the 2010 year and all will be at different locations. The first class will take place at the COMP Performance Group facility in Memphis, TN on May 8th. The second class will head out west on June 26th to Westech Performance in Mira Loma, CA. The location and dates of the last two classes are still being worked out, but each class will only hold 25 people. The registration fee is $495.00 and will include a certificate of completion, a training manual and digital copy of the presentation, personal contacts with the FAST technical staff, an attendee goodie bag, and most importantly, knowledge that would take years to acquire.
