Glidden building 2010 Mustang with Help from Mickey Thompson

Billy Glidden's 2010 Mustang Rendering. It will look good in the winner's circle.

It is another year and as many knew that his GTO was going to be sold at the end of 2009, no one knew what was going to replace it.  One speculation we made was that Billy was going to be driving a 2010 Mustang, and our predictions were correct.  Another contract is inked and Billy Glidden continues to drive with Mickey Thompson, back to the old Glidden heritage with a Ford.

MICKEY THOMPSON PERFORMANCE TIRES & WHEELS ANNOUNCES RENEWED PARTNERSHIP WITH BILL GLIDDEN RACING

STOW, OH – Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels is proud to announce the renewal of the partnership with Bill Glidden Racing for 2010. Through this partnership, Glidden will continue to work closely with Mickey Thompson product development staff to provide information regarding the performance of Mickey Thompson products in real world racing applications. In return, Mickey Thompson will provide support to the Bill Glidden team as they compete in the ADRL Extreme 10.5 Class throughout the year.

Billy has been working on the big horsepower he’ll need to win races, and we’re looking forward to seeing him test this vehicle and our products on the track.
