On the weekend of September 23-25, Holcomb Motorsports will once again host the 16th edition of their highly-anticipated Outlaw Civil Wars event at the Rockingham Dragway in Rockingham, North Carolina.
Events on tap for the weekend include the drag races, a car show, swap meet, and an extensive vendor midway.
Among the exciting drag racing classes on the fight card include Outlaw 10.5, True 10.5, X275, King of the Streets, and the ever-popular True Street. As well, 6.0 and 7.0 index classes will be contested, along with Pro Tree, Footbrake, and Open Comp. Tens of thousands of dollars are up for grabs across the board in what will undoubtedly be one competitive weekend of racing.
As the Holcomb Motorsports Fall Civil Wars 16 event flyer states, the one primary rule overlying every category for the weekend is, “No doors…no race!”
During the Spring Outlaw Civil Wars back in April, the all-conquering Tim Lynch raced his way into victory lane in Outlaw 10.5, qualifying first with at 4.14 anddowning Danny Lowry in a very close final round matchup. Joining Lynch in victory lane was Kevin Fiscus, who took the True 10.5 honors, along with Terry Morton (Real Street 275), Justin Smith (X275), and Craig Owen in King of the Street.
