[1]Remember all of the LS related fun that took over Beech Bend Raceway last year? Well the good folks at Holley Performance Products [2] announced the official dates for the 2012 LS Fest [3] in Bowling Green, Kentucky. For the 2012 Holley LS Fest Beech Bend Raceway will again be home to some of the wildest, most powerful LS powered cars and trucks starting September 7 and concluding September 9, 2012. During three days LS devotees will have the opportunity to take part in more than 8 different challenges and have a chance to explore the manufacturers’ midway. Along with the traditional competitions such as drag racing, autocross and the Speed Stop Challenge, Holley will once again welcome back drift competitors at the 2012 LS Fest.
According to the a press release issued by Holley, last year’s LS Fest saw a 51% increase in the total number of participants. Along with the increase in participants and attendees, the overall number of vendors increased as well. With consistent growth over the past two years, the 2012 LS Fest is expected to draw more participants, vendors and attendees thanks to the sheer volume of hardcore LS action.
For 2012 the LS Fest will include the Autocross, Countryside Cruise, Drag Racing, Drifting, Dyno Challenge, an Engine Swap Challenge, Show-N-Shine and the Speed Stop Challenge. Like previous years, anything with LS engine between the fenders, under the hood or rear-mounted is welcome to take part in the wide array of activities. Whether you are interested in show or go, the 2012 LS Fest has something for LS lover along with the entire family.
