Mickey Thompson Named The Official Tire Of The 2010 ADRL Drag Racing Series

The ADRL is gaining steam coming into 2010 as a series with virtually no rules.  The series has a wide array of vehicles that boast everything from full size slicks to 10.5-inch sizes, down to motorcycles.  Mickey Thompson is one of those companies that specializes in high performance drag racing tires and they have recently inked a deal with ADRL on becoming the official tire of the series.

Mickey Thompson Named The Official Tire Of The 2010 ADRL Drag Racing Series 02/01/10 Stow, OH – In addition to being an ongoing ADRL contingency sponsor, Mickey Thompson has now been selected as the Official Tire of the 2010 ADRL Drag Racing series. This expanded partnership with ADRL will allow Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels to increase their support to the drag racing teams.

“It is a great pleasure for us to support the ADRL Drag Racing Series,” said Carl Robinson, Motorsports Manager, Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels. “It’s great to work with a sanctioning body that understands that we want to meet the needs of the drag racers.”

In addition to their role as a contingency sponsor in 2009, Mickey Thompson also introduced the ADRL Extreme 10.5 Three-Second Club that awarded a number of prizes to the first five race teams able to achieve less than four-second runs in the Extreme 10.5 Class. This new program will be continued in 2010 and beyond.
