Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels has announced their return to the National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) as an official 2012 series sponsor and title sponsor of the Super Street 10.5W category for all seven events on the series calendar. Mickey Thompson, one of the leaders in the racing, street, and off-road tire and wheel market, will offer contingency awards for all Pro and Sportsman class racers, including Pro Street, Super Street 10.5W, Nostalgia Pro Street, Xtreme Street, Pro Stock, Drag Radial, Mean Street, Late-Model EFI, Open Comp, Nostalgia Super Stock, Muscle Car and special event classes.

Competitors in the pro classes using Mickey Thompson tires on all four corners will earn a $300 award, while runners-up will earn $150. Additional bonuses are also on the table for competitors in Pro Street, Super Street, Nostalgia Pro Street, Xtreme Street, Pro Stock, and Drag Radial that utilize Mickey Thompson wheels on all four corners.

Mickey Thompson will also remain the class sponsor of the Super Street 10.5W category, where many of the top competitors utilize their 33 x 10.5W designation 3069W, 3169W, and 3170W tires propel them to six-second elapsed times at over 200 miles per hour.

Like the mainstay NMCA Muscle Car Nationals Series back on the East coast, Mickey Thompson will also offer contingency awards to NMCA West pro and sportsman class competitors, including Pro Street, True 10.5, X275 Drag Radial, Outlaw 8.5, Hot Street, Nostalgia Street Car, Open Comp, Mustang Madness, Super Quick and Quick Street classes. Bonus payouts will also be awarded for winners and runners-up  in Pro Street, True 10.5, X275 Drag Radial, Outlaw 8.5, and Hot Street using Mickey Thompson tires and/or wheels on their vehicle.
