Continuing the strong relationship enjoyed by the two parties, Mickey Thompson Tires recently announced that they would return as the official tire of the popular ADRL series for the 2011 season. In addition to the sponsorship agreement, Mickey Thompson will also continue to offer its comprehensive contingency program to racers in the ADRL’s five professional classes.
“The ADRL is a great partner and very loyal and we truly enjoy working with everyone there,” Mickey Thompson Motorsports Manager Carl Robinson said. “We find it to be a very good match for our brand.” Mickey Thompson’s line of racing wheel and tire products have grown increasingly more prevalent in the ADRL’s premier categories, a sign of the successful relationship that exists between them.
“Their tremendous support of our racers and events has been instrumental in the growth and success of the ADRL and I can’t imagine having our races without them involved.,” ADRL Executive Vice President Jeff Fortune said.
According to Robinson, Mickey Thompson Tires is in the continued development of new tires for the Pro Extreme and Extreme Pro Stock for 2011 to notch up the competition and performances just that much more. “That potential is very exciting,” Robinson said. “At the current time, we have a good product, but our desire is to develop a new product into a new technical zone. That’s exciting.”
