Race Part Solutions Releases Innovative Dual Seal Connectors

New from Race Part Solutions – the Dual Seal Connectors for high pressure boosted applications. The connectors deliver a flexible connection that can withstand extreme boost pressure. See more details below.

Official Release:

The problem solvers at RACE PART SOLUTIONS have created their own version of the Wiggins-style clamp for boosted applications, Race Part Solutions’ Dual Seal Connectors.

These high quality, American-made connectors cover a wide range of tubing diameters from 2.5-inches to 5-inches and are extremely affordable with the most expensive 5-inch kit coming in at only $169.00.

Race Part Solutions’ Dual Seal Connectors solve a common problem that boosted race car builders face on a regular basis, how to contain all of that boost. Traditional silicone hoses are easy to work with and provide a flexible connection that prevents binding in the charge air system, yet even the best 4-ply silicone hoses will not withstand the high boost levels of race cars and diesel trucks. V-bands provide solid connections that will handle the boost, but their rigid connections can be hard on parts due to binding.

Race Part Solutions’ Dual Seal Connectors combine the best features of hoses and V-bands to deliver a flexible connection that can withstand extreme boost pressure, thanks to the innovative dual seal design. Each weld flange has an O-ring on the outside that seals against the inside of an aluminum sleeve, and all three parts are held in place by the black-anodized locking clamp. Additionally, the center sleeve allows each flange to move independently while maintaining a tight seal that gets even better when the flanges expand under high pressure.

In addition to the advantages of a high-pressure seal, a flexible connection comes with its own benefits. Connectors that have a bit of deflection are much easier to work with when plumbing the boost side of a race car, and having some give in the charge air system will also prevent binding during chassis flex, which can destroy that expensive forced induction showpiece.

Race season is for racing – don’t risk costly downtime chasing boost leaks or blown couplers! Install Race Part Solutions’ new Dual Seal Connectors now and save yourself the headaches and frustrations later on by ensuring great, durable connections.
