Official Release:

RaceQuip introduces a Carbon Fiber version of their popular VESTA15 helmet. The VESTA15 design is a bold departure from traditional racing helmet styling and now it’s lighter than ever. The VESTA15 Carbon helmet is dual certified to both Snell SA2015 and FIA 8859 specifications. The contemporary design paired with modern production techniques creates a balance between light weight and affordability. This innovative helmet features a shell comprised of alternating layers of hand laid Carbon Fiber and Kevlar with a uniquely shaped chin bar that supports a scalloped faceshield design.

Reinforced M6 threaded HANS/FHR inserts are mated to the shell along with an expanded polystyrene (EPS) liner. HANS or other head and neck restraint device anchor posts (not included) can be easily attached to the outside of the helmet using the installed M6 threaded inserts. The distortion free 3mm polycarbonate faceshield features a molded thumb catch, aluminum pivot kit, hand ratcheting TearOff posts, and a silicone eyeport gasket to seal out dust and dirt. A wide eyeport provides good peripheral vision and allows the use of personal eyewear. An extra set of cheek pads are included to allow a customized fit. The dual certificationratings means that the Nomex interior, Kevlar chin strap, and exterior paint are fire retardant so the RaceQuip VESTA15 Carbon Helmet is suitable for use in all forms of motorsports. The comfort fit blended Nomex interior along with exhaust vents on the top and back of the shell help keep your scalp cool. Available in sizes Small -2XL for under $600. from any RaceQuip dealer.
