Optic Armor Performance Windows Joins The powerTV Network

Optic Armor Performance Windows, one of the industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of specialized windshields for motorcycles and racing vehicles, has joined forces with the powerTV network of online enthusiast magazines, where their brand and high-quality products will reach a global audience of hardcore racers and automotive gurus.

Optic Armor, based in the scenic Lake of the Ozarks area of Missouri, is a privately owned manufacturer of race car windows and other polycarbonate and acrylic products for a wide range of vehicles – from cars and motorcycles to boats, industrial equipment, all-terrain and off road vehicles, helicopters, airplanes, and more. Their polycarbonate window products feature a proprietary manufacturing method that’s thermal formed and hard coated to provide superior resistance to chemicals, scratches, and abrasions. To add to that, Optic Armor Windows are 250 times stronger than factory glass, 50- to 75-percent lighter, and have far greater optical clarity.

While you may not know it, Optic Armor’s SFI-approved products are in use on a number of highly visible racing machines in the drag boat and drag racing world, including several Pro Modifieds and similar high-speed, high-powered doorslammers.

LSX Drag Radial competitor Mark Koehler uses Optic Armor Windows on his Pontiac Firebird.

Along with the great features already mentioned, optic Armor’s Race Car Windows are flexible, require no special cleaners, feature factory glass-matching form, and are available in a number of thicknesses.

We here at powerTV are looking forward to bringing optic Armor’s products into the spotlight with future project car buildups in the shop, and we hope you’ll check it out and give their products a try on your own racing, street, or other vehicles.
