The spoils of victory are what racers crave, whether it’s recognition, defeating a rival, or a hefty payout. At the upcoming Outlaw Armageddon – The Second Coming, the No Prep racers of the world will have an opportunity to experience all of those and more, as they tackle their on-track foes for big money and recognition to match.

The Thunder Valley Raceway Park will be rocking August 19-20th when all of the best No Prep racers in the world mix it up to see who really is the best of the best.

At the 2015 edition of Outlaw Armageddon, Street Outlaws Star Justin “Big Chief” Shearer literally drove over his own crankshaft to get the win and the glory that goes with.

“When Big Chief won the invitational class in 2015, he described how on his social media feed, it was page after page of nothing but photos, videos, and congratulations on his win,” said Thunder Valley’s Nick Duty.

“Soon after that, his phone started ringing with fellow racers and friends calling to congratulate him. Before it was all over, companies that are heavily involved in Outlaw and No Prep racing were reaching out with opportunities for sponsorship — that’s what makes this race so successful,” Duty went on to say.

Other racers took note of the exposure gained from the 2015 Outlaw Armageddon race and made sure to put Outlaw Armageddon – The Second Coming as a must-attend race for 2016.

“It’s hands down the largest and craziest No Prep race in the world. Fans from all over come to see the best No Prep racing in history — there’s no other race like it anywhere. Every fast No Prep racer will be here at this event because they know what it means to win,” says  Joe Woods, better known as “Dominator” on Street Outlaws.

“I’ve been working in drag racing since I was 13 years old and have been involved in some huge events that have been wildly successful, but none of them hold a candle to Outlaw Armageddon,” Duty proclaims. “No matter how many events I have been a part of producing, promoting, and directing, a race like this one still gets me excited. I’m probably just as interested in watching the action as all of the fans; nothing can compare to Armageddon…it’s in a class all its own.”
