Power Automedia Welcomes Mark Williams Enterprises

Back in the early 1960’s, when Mark Williams Enterprises was founded as a chassis shop, the company’s focus was on building cars for customers, and in fact, constructed a number of national-event winning cars that competed in a variety of classes. The company shifted into manufacturing axles and other related components by the mid-1970’s, as the products that were in the marketplace did not meet MW’s standards. They introduced a guaranteed forged steel axle program around that time, and by the end of that decade had become a go-to manufacturer of high-end driveline parts for all different types of race cars.

Today, their 32,000 square-foot facility in Louisville, Colorado, has a number of CNC machining centers that are networked to ensure a high level of production control and manufacturing efficiency. As axles are their primary business, MW has invested in the equipment to produce them, and they are the only company in the marketplace that can produce both induction-hardened and thru-hardened axles in-house.

Mark Williams Hi-Torque axles are put through a rigorous machining process that has been developed through years of testing and feature improvements made over the years based on their customer feedback and in-house testing. Their entire line of race-car parts and pieces is designed and manufactured right here in the United States, including many different styles of rear-end housings, assemblies, axles and spools, along with many different style of brake kits, driveshafts, and other hard-to-find pieces.

Their catalog includes complete dragster and Funny Car/Altered chassis kits that are well-engineered and priced right for the fabricator that wants to put everything together at home, and they continue to offer a complete line of steering components, chassis tabs and brackets and even chromoly tubing. MW’s modular 11-inch Full-Floater axle setups are legendary in the industry for fit and finish and are found underneath many of today’s super-high-horsepower outlaw and pro-level race cars.

We are proud to have them on board with the Power Automedia family of magazines and look forward to a long and productive relationship. If you’re in the market for driveline parts that fit right and are built to last, check out Mark Williams Enterprises.
