John Force Entertainment, the new media division of John Force Racing being headed up by Ashley Force-Hood, recently released the first installment of Nitro Rewind on the NHRA’s YouTube channel.

Just in time for this weekends O’Reilly Auto Parts NHRA Spring Nationals in Houston, the internet-based Nitro Rewind broadcast hosted by Bill Stephens serves as a preview to the upcoming race on the schedule, while taking a look back at the highlights and lowlights of the most recent event. Nitro Rewind will feature interviews with competitors in Top Fuel and Funny Car competitors throughout the season.

“We wanted to create a show that would set the table for the upcoming NHRA national event,” said Ashley Force Hood, president of John Force Entertainment. “Our goal is to get people excited about our races and hopefully tune in to the great ESPN2 broadcasts. We are going to have a little bit of a recap of the previous race, but most of the focus of each show will be on the next race coming up and what fans should be on the lookout for.”

In this first episode, Top Fuel drivers Terry McMillen and Morgan Lucas discusses the challenges of racing in Houston and JFR track specialist Lanny Maglizzi talks about what it takes to get a car down a hot, sticky racetrack, while Stephens provides a look back at the final rounds in Charlotte and reviews the current point standings in the nitro categories.

“I am excited about this project,” added Force Hood. “I can promise NHRA fans one thing: The shows will all be positive, and they’ll highlight the great nitro personalities and storylines the NHRA offers every event. This show will evolve, and our goal is to interview and promote as many Top Fuel and Funny Car personalities as we can.”
