Redemption 7.0 Ready To Rock With The Big Guns Of No Prep Racing

Shannon Morgan’s Redemption series is one of the original No Prep racing series and has always focused on the quality of the on-track product. This concentration on doing what’s best for the racers has led to a huge surge in popularity for the series among the competitors, and that has made for great racing that draws in huge crowds. Now, Morgan is ready to bring her series back again with Redemption 7.0 at the Texas Motorplex this May 26-27 in Ennis, Texas.

Keeping things based on what’s best for the racers and fans has allowed Morgan to grow her series of races each year.

“We’re still all about the racers, just like when we started the Redemption series. It doesn’t matter who you are, we want everyone to have a great time and we provide a family-oriented atmosphere to race in. I try to keep the rules as even as possible so everybody has the same chance of winning that’s been racing No Prep with us since the series began,” Morgan explains.

Morgan goes to great lengths to give the racers who helped build the Redemption series the best races possible. She provides guaranteed payouts, a family atmosphere, and common sense set of rules that keep everything within the spirit of the classes that allows the racing to be as fair as possible at each event. It’s that type of attitude and action that draws the biggest names in No Prep to the Redemption events.

Big Tire races like Daddy Dave, Doc, Monza, The Godfather, Kye Kelley and many more come to the Redemption races when they aren’t filming for Street Outlaws. Morgan also offers these racers and others the chance to run cars they have more in common with. “On Friday night we will be having a class where the cars must have a VIN number, factory roof, and quarter panels. This class is geared more towards the old school back-half style cars like many of them have, so they don’t have to race the full tube-chassis cars that are out there in the Big Tire world,” Morgan says.

For the Small Tire class racers like Boosted GT, Cody Jones, Boost12, and Bobby Ducote, Morgan gives them an opportunity to race in special shootouts at Redemption 7.0 that keeps things even. “The Small Tire racers get their own Friday Night race where I don’t allow big block twin-turbo cars to run. This lets the 28-inch tire racers have a chance to get a race in on a level playing field and have some fun,” Morgan explains.

If you want to see some of the best No Prep action around then Redemption 7.0 will be a race to watch. The biggest names in Big Tire and Small Tire will be at the Texas Motorplex on May 26-27 to see who can bring home the title and the cash! You can catch all the action on SpeedVideo.com right here. This broadcast is brought to you by presenting sponsor ProCharger, along with Moser Engineering, Neal Chance Racing Converters, GoodGuys Rod & Custom Association, Racepak, and Royal Purple.
