Drag racing is a tough sport in many different aspects, both financially, personally and mentally – it takes a lot to make it to the top of any series. As usual, the 2010 NHRA Full Throttle’s grueling 24 race schedule is no exception. Rodger Brogdon knows this however from the early season troubles they experienced last year, but as the year moved on and the team racked up experience, things really started progressing towards a creating a competitive team.
Brogdon Racing’s most recent announcement is their new look for 2010 which can be found on their website.

Getting the ball rolling was a new Pontiac GXP car that was built by Jerry Haas Race Cars and has already been on track for some pre-season testing. The team is also planning to get in some more testing before the Pro-Stock preseason race in Las Vegas, with hopes of showing up to Pomona as a serious threat to win. This Steve Kent Racing Pro-Stock team’s car will be wrapped with an all new design with the looks and logo of Attitude Apparel – their new 2010 main sponsor. The Charter logo will also be displayed on the conical hood scoop this year as a secondary sponsor.
This all new “The Pistonator” design is surely something new and original that hasn’t been done before and we like that. Could we possibly be looking at a rendering of the 2010 NHRA Pro Stock champion? It’s a tall order for any team, but someone has to win, right? No doubt this team has the equipment and people capable of doing what it takes but anything can happen on race day. So for now, its good luck to all in 2010 and see you on the race track soon!
