Strange Engineering has been developing rear end components for over 40 years and have taken pride in changing stock rear ends into Strange rear ends. At this year’s SEMA show, Jeff Stange was displaying the Strange S series axles.
“These are perfect for the guys that want to beef up the durability of their rear end. From street and street/strip to full on drag race and road racing, the S series axle will add some strength to an often over looked area on the car,” said Strange.
Available in either the S/S or S/T configuration, these induction hardened axles are available for 8.8″ and 9″ Fords, GM’s with 30 or 33 splines and 8.75 Mopar 30 spline applications.
Each axle is induction hardened to its optimal hardness from modified 1550 steel. “Our S/T series 35 spline axles are designed for a street and strip use, where the S/S series is designed for the street guy. In either application, our axles will hold up to the bending loads of street or strip use.”
Features of the Strange S series axles:
- CNC machined from premium forged steel.
- Induction hardened to resist bending loads encountered with street use.
- S/T 35-spline (1.500”shaft diameter) axles are designed for your street/strip requirements.
- Radius rings to minimize stress concentrations.
