The folks at Tim McAmis Race Cars, one of drag racing’s leading chassis builders and component suppliers, have launched an all-new website that’s among the most information-rich and feature-packed in the industry. For McAmis and company, based out of Hawk Point, Missouri, the new portal serves as the online home for their multi-faceted operation which includes complete chassis and race car construction, composites, and the vast Tim McAmis Performance Parts division.
TMRC, which was established in 1992, has provided record-setting, championship-winning cars from Pro Modified to Top Sportsman in the NHRA, IHRA, the PDRA, and countless other fast doorslammer organizations. And while top-to-bottom race car builds are still a component of the business, McAmis has gradually shifted to the mail order side of things, and the new website illustrates just that. Available through the online catalog are hundreds of components for the DIY racer and smaller chassis shops, with everything from complete welded chassis to rear end housings, carbon fiber parts such as body kits, hood scoops, and wheel tubs, to all of the nitty gritty chassis accessories such as tabs, fasteners, pedal kits, and suspension components.
Beyond that, the Performance Parts division is a dealer for a range of drag racing-focused manufacturers, including MSD, Racepak, Simpson, Lithium Pros batteries, Aeroquip, and many others.
If you’re in the market for a complete, proven race car or race cars in-progress (or even engines), there’s a place for that, as well.
And the level of information that’s been compiled is of particular significance: detailed looks at their latest in-house creations, racer news and updates, bios of customer cars past and present, a walk-through of the Hawk Point facilities and equipment.
