The crew at B&B Race Cars down in Hohenwald, TN haven’t let a little rain…okay, a whole lot of rain…slow them down any as their shop is packed with several really cool projects underway, or soon to go on the jig. Anne Breaud, who co-owns the company along with husband and Limited Street racer Darren Breaud, shared a tour of the shop and the current projects that they have going on with us.
Among these are two new Drag Pak Dodge Challengers for Stock Eliminator competition that are nearing completion, a 2009 Chevy Cobalt Super Stocker, the previously reported 2010 Camaro being built for Hendrick Motorsports, a Stock eliminator 2010 Mustang, a Super Stock Chrysler Barracuda, and Don Baskin’s freshly-painted 2010 Camaro for NMCA competition. As we also reported on, Chris Daniels sold his sharp F-Body Camaro and has an all new 2010 Camaro under construction at B&B. In the meantime, the Breaud’s have loaned Daniels their blue GTO to compete with in Limited Street this season with his 830 cubic inch Fulton motor shoehorned under the hood.
In the waiting area of the shop, there are a couple more Drag Pak Challenger’s and a new Camaro waiting their turn to receive the B&B treatment. Darren and his talented group of employees are very well known for Stock and Super Stock race cars, and it certainly shows with the number of cars sporting their handiwork winning on the track and those lining up to get in the shop.
