Xtreme 275 Drag Radial Shootout joins forces with Mickey Thompson and Induction Solutions

John Sears of OutlawRadial.net has been hard at work promoting his fast growing race series for the past few seasons. As most promoters have found, it means endless hours of chasing sponsors for the much needed support for the racers. X275 as it has been dubbed  is stepping up big for the racers in the 2010 season along with some major support from sponsors. Just judging by the recent success of the X275 versus the 28×10.5 slick class, this season should be packed full of wheel standing, crowd pleasing performances along with plenty of stellar numbers. There were quite a few racers who have dropped into the 4-second zone on the 275 tire.

Go to the OutlawRadial website for rules and schedule.

While at the ORTC Race John Sears was introduced to Ton Kundrik of Mickey Thompson by Tim Lewis. Tom was aware of John’s intentions to continue to grow the X275 Shootout Series and wanted to know what Mickey Thompson could do to help. The series will race at two venues this season, Maryland International Raceway and Virginia Motorsports Park combining for a total of thirteen races.

In a release from OutlawRadial.net and John Sears,

I would like  to thank Carl Robinson and Tom Kundrik of Mickey Thompson for their support and to Jason Miller of MIR and Marc Wessler
of VMP for their continued support of the Xtreme 275 Drag Radial Shootout series.

Strap on a pair of 275’s this season and head to support one of the fastest growing racing organizations on the east coast. Could it be possible to have another invasion of the west coast come time for the World Cup at MIR? Just maybe Dave Bowman will mix things up once again like he did at the ORTC race in Georgia.

Just in is the new venture between yet another great company who has decided to support X275 for the 2010 season

Induction Solutions  become the Official Nitrous Supplier of X275  Drag Radial at Maryland International Raceway and Virginia Motorsports  Park  for the 2010 season! Steve Johnson of Induction Solutions has  signed on to become the Official Nitrous Supplier of X275 Drag Radial! Induction Solutions is an  up and coming nitrous company that provides a multitude of products  and  services related to nitrous oxide including direct port installation,  system flow mapping,  and track-side tuning assistance. Johnson was looking for more exposure in  the ever growing world of small tire racing and  searched for a series where  his products and services could be at the fore-front. The new X275 drag  radial series run by John Sears of  OutlawRadial.net at Maryland  International Raceway and Virginia Motorsports Park was a perfect fit for  Induction Solutions and a deal  was made.

The series that features  nitrous small blocks, nitrous big blocks and  turbo/supercharged small  blocks is the perfect setting for Induction Solutions as the Official Nitrous Supplier as well  as an Official  Contingency Sponsor. Many of the nitrous  small  block and big block combos that already run or are planning to run  the series have Induction Solutions systems or components in place and  will  be able to take advantage of the generous contingency program set up  by Sears and Johnson. Each racer that has an Induction Solutions  system(s)will be eligible for contingency of $100 for a win and $50 for a  runner up as long as  they have the Induction Solutions decals on the side  windows and are  able to provide their Induction Solutions system number to confirm that  the system has indeed  been purchased through the company.  As an added bonus Induction  Solutions has also agreed to provide one nitrous bottle to the MIR X275  points champion and one nitrous bottle to  the VMP X275 points champion. (Champion, or highest finishing nitrous  car).  John  Sears would like to add his thanks to Steve and Induction Solutions  for  their support and plan on making 2010 a year to remember in X275  Drag  Radial.
