As always, a special thanks to our event coverage presenting sp0nssor, Mickey Thompson Performance Tires & Wheels. For all of your racing, street/strip, and daily driver tire and wheel needs, check our Mickey Thompson!

One of the big stories of the week goes to Steve Jackson and the Killin Time Racing crew. Jackson crashed at the Yellow Bullet Nationals Labor Day weekend and the crew worked hard to get it repaired and back on track in just 20 days. Much of the work was done at Teddy Houser Race Cars. Earlier today he ran a 4.47 at 177 with a 1.19 60'.

Keith Berry has the Wooo! mobile on the property for it's race debut. The show quality Corvette has been transformed from an LS-powered X275 car into a Radial vs. The World car with a Proline Race Engines twin turbo big block powerhouse. A full feature will be forthcoming here on Dragzine.

Here Tony Ridenour is paired up with Mel Nelson during testing this afternoon. Ridenour just switched from a Procharged set up to twin turbos with Steve Petty still on the keyboard tuning it up. Proformance Transmissions and Pro Torque converters are also on board.

Another car now with twins is the Chevy Cobalt owned by Willard Kinzer and driven by Jeff Lutz in Outlaw 10.5.

Gary White and team Titan Motorsports is in the house running Outlaw 10.5 this weekend.

Jody Voyles has his Camaro in Ultimate Street this weekend. Class rules require the standard Mickey Thompson 275 radial. This is his first time on the tires and netted a 5.18 earlier today.

Well well, it seems Max Rider did indeed make it here this weekend with his car. His first pass today he was paired up with none other than Rich Bruder, and though it is early in the weekend, Max took the stripe with a 4.75 at 151 MPH for the nitrous small block combo to Bruders' 4.96 at 156.

Jason Etheridge runs this 2001 Mustang built by Jimmy Blackmon at Straightline Chassis. He runs a Proline 632 with twin 94mm turbos, his best run is a 4.50. They were testing recently at Holly Springs and broke this 40-spline Strange axle and will be running Radial vs. the World this weekend. He runs a Keith Neal trans using Coan parts and a Pro Torque converter.

NMCA LSX racer Mike Meeks brought his carbon wrapped new gen Camaro to compete this weekend. He runs a LSX combo on nitrous and ran a 4.99 during today's testing.

Kurt Borton has the "Almond Assassin" Ford Futura running X275 with an F1-X Procharged mod motor combination. A clean and easy 5.23 run this morning resulted in a blown out back window that they were replacing with lexan when I stopped by their pits. I first met these guys at NMRA Spring Break Shootout a few years ago running True Street with this car.

Another racer from the True street ranks on hand is Chris Lancaster. He won NMRA Bradenton with this same car earlier this year with a string of consistent 8.0's. He is running Ultimate Street this weekend.

This group of guys race together out of the Mississippi/Alabama border area. The Blazer is owned by Ray Ladnier and competing in Leaf Spring with his 18-degree 406 Chevy force fed by a 118mm turbo with Patrick Barnhill lending a hand with the tune. The car was built by himself and Keith Fern with chassis work by Lavern Ferrouaillat. Paul Naquin is pitted next door with a 434 ci SBF and twin 88's running OL275. The car, engine and trans was built by Naquin. Don Thing hails from Mobile, Alabama with his Outlaw 275 nitrous sniffing 572 ci BBC Vega. The Vega is a fully tagged and insured street car and has been 5.40's on local tracks.

Robert Rogers from VP Race Fuels is driving this Mustang this weekend in Ultimate Street. Eric Kenward had been driving recently and maintains the car as well and has been working with Kevin Neal's June Bug Nitrous. Rogers ran a 5.08 and a 5.06 today.

This bright Green and black Fox body owned by Alfred Castro. Today Larry Valadez is driving with Smiley Cordero taking over tomorrow. They hail from Texas and this is their first Radial Revolution event. The 632 big block Chevy was built by Alfred and a friend. Twin pro mod 94's pressurize the engine.

The quickest man on radials, Kenny Hubbard, made a couple of hits today in the 4.70's after spinning on his first attempt.

Brad Edwards is sporting a new paint job recently. He was paired up with Kevin Cram this afternoon and got the best of the Chevy with a 4.54 at 172 to Cram's 4.71 @ 162.

Steve Jackson left lane, Frank Soldrige right lane, two of the best runs of the day in Radial vs. the World, and side by side no less, gotta love it.

Ruben Tetsosvili on his way to a nice 4.44 at 177 MPH in RvW (Radial vs. the World)

Keith Berry ran a personal best ET 4.71 at 135, clicking it early after a little wiggle mid track. This is the most talked about car here.

Jason Enos laid down a 4.27 at 185 in Outlaw 10.5 testing.

Martin Connelley managed a 4.70 at 154 tonight with his nitrous big block Chevy in X275. I believe this was the quickest run today for the class.

Scotty G and the Jet Blue crew unloaded a 4.43 at 168 on radials for Radial vs.the World.

Ari Birchfield hangs it out in Enrique Perez' X275 small block nitrous powered Mustang. The team is from Miami, Florida.

Bad 9er Kyle Hutell out of Texas lights the fire in his Fulton powered LS/Radial vs.the World Camaro. The result was a 4.35.

Wheelies...yes we have them and we are just getting started..

Joel Greathouse could be poised to reset his own OL275 record this weekend while driving for John Kolivas after this 4.54 at 171 MPH blast. The current record is a 4.56.

Kevin Neal is driving Jason Reuckert's Procharged Cutlass this weekend. Reuckert is seen here putting Neal in the beams just before a 4.55 at 161 mph run, the car's best to date.
