For the fifth straight year, the high-profile co-promoters have brought their Spring Fling brand of races to the west coast at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. What might be the gaming capital of the world plays very well to the hundreds of racers who have made the trek each year to race for the biggest of big money, bracket racing-style.

The inaugural “Million” dollar race was held in 2016 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with hundreds 0f racers from four different countries vying for inaugural title of “Million Winner”. Jeff Verdi, all the way  from Glen Allen, Virginia towed his Firebird on an open trailer across country and won it all.

With no shortage of heavy hitters on the property for 2017, the second annual “Million” was for from an easy task for anyone. Champion racers such as 100-time NHRA sportsman star Dan Fletcher and bracket racing standouts Luke Bogacki and Peeps Pennington were just a few of the heavy hitters to compete.

After a grueling battle with some of the best bracket racing ever to be contested, Bogacki, a multi-time NHRA world champion and feared big buck racer defeated Michael Pennington for the coveted prize.

“The Spring Fling Million was the final race on my bucket list to win; nothing compares to this,” Bogacki said shortly after the most lucrative victory of his decorated driving career. “After coming close last year, I woke up this morning and told my wife I just had a good feeling that everything would fall into place. Winning the Million is all I ever dreamed of.”
