NHRA: Same Day Event Coverage here on DRAGZINE. As it has each February for the last 51 years, the NHRA kicked off it’s Full Throttle Drag Racing season in style in Pomona, California at the Pomona Raceway. Despite a washed out day of qualifying on Friday, the event marched on with some exciting performances and close racing action. When all was said and done, Morgan Lucas (Top Fuel), Robert Hight (Funny Car), and Jason Line (Pro Stock) all got their championship pursuits off to a great start with wins.
