Outlaw Armageddon
Texas native Steve Wiley captured yet another high-dollar payday in his “Grim Reaper” Corvette on Saturday in Oklahoma when he downed Gaylen Smith in the Big Tire finale at Outlaw Armageddon at the Thunder Valley Raceway Park in a battle of Outlaw Pro Mods from the Lonestar State. Wiley took home $30,000 for his efforts after edging out Smith, who had garnered the Race Your Way In title the previous evening. In Small Tire, Chicago-area racer Joey Rabiola aka “Boost 12” powered his Ford Mustang to the $20,000 crown with a final round defeat of No Prep heavy hitter Sergio “Flaco” Gonzalez. Casey Rance mowed down the tree in the Outlaw Street final to capture victory, while Stefan Slisz survived a 35-mile cruise and outlasted a stellar field of entrants to take the $5,000 winners payday in True Street.
