Event Preview: Bounty Hunters No Prep Nationals III

There’s a Texas-sized clash of the No Prep titans coming to San Antonio Raceway March 9-10 when the Bounty Hunters No-Prep Nationals III begins. The third installment of this thrilling series is ready to bring out the kings of No Prep racing to try and score some of the biggest paydays they’ll see all year. All of the insane No Prep racing can be seen LIVE right here on SpeedVideo.com when the action begins at San Antonio Raceway March 9!

The Bounty Hunters No-Prep Nationals is known for producing very close racing and some blockbuster matchups that fans love. There will be racers from all over the country coming to San Antonio Raceway ready to add their name to the list of No Prep legends that have won at this event. Every pass during testing has to be a pair, so the grudge racing that will be going down Friday night will provide some epic races for big money.

In 2017 the Small Tire class brought out the biggest names in No Prep as they squared off for the massive $25,000 purse that was on the line. Dylan Wells had to chop his way through a huge field to pick up the win in Small Tire last year. For 2018 the Small Tire field will be deeper than ever and will feature talented drivers and big rivalries that fans will love to see.

The Big Tire finals in 2017 had two of the kings of No Prep line up when James “Birdman” Finney and “The 55” locked horns. In 2018 we could see a rematch between these two and Birdman is looking to avenge his loss to “The 55” last year. They both will have to deal with a stacked field of Big Tire cars that all have their eyes on that $25,000 prize.

The racing action won’t stop with just the Big and Small Tire classes — Bounty Hunters III is packed with other classes, too. There will be a King of The Tailgate class paying $5,000 to win and a Street Truck Shootout with a $3,500 purse for those who like to see trucks race. Street cars will also have the opportunity to show off what they can do with the $7,500-to-win True Street class and the Factory Street category with $2,500 on the line. There will even be a 6.0 Index class with a 100-percent payback PLUS an extra $1,000 to the winner.

Bounty Hunters III is a can’t-miss event and you need to be at San Antonio Raceway to see all the action live.
