G-Force has been producing high performance transmissions used by many of today’s top NHRA racers for more than 14 years. The company’s products are engineered using the most up-to-date CNC machining technology and computerized inspection equipment to optimize accuracy and repeatability.
Michael Long of G-Force was introducing some new bits and pieces at the PRI show. The top of the line GF-2000 is getting an increase to handle up to 25% more HP. This clutchless 5-speed developed specifically for professional Pro Stock teams has endured countless hours of research and development and an equally rigorous testing agenda. It has now been made available to the general racing public to prove that G-Force is committed to bringing the best possible products to the racer. This transmission features more internal bearing supports than any other racing transmission on the market today.
A new 4-speed tranny, the GF-101A, for Stock & Super Stock Classes, will be available in either Clutch Assist or Clutchless models; $2,500 for reconditioned models and $4,500 new.
The GF-5R gets an increase of 15% more torque by using 4 speed gears in this 5 speed. The GF-5R is a versatile transmission having a wide range of applications: drag racing (both clutchless and clutch assisted), road racing, off road, and street/strip vehicles. Like G-Force models, this transmission comes with your choice of a Long H-Pattern or a Vertical Gate shifter. An air shifter can be specified as optional for drag racing applications as well.
