E3 Spark Plugs has done a great job of producing a burn at one end of the ignition system, it only makes sense that the company would spread out to the rest of the ignition components and apply the same technology to distributors, ignition coils, and spark plug wires. Having moved through the street performance territory, it was time to tackle the racing world. At this year’s PRI show in Indianapolis, Steve Joiner and his crew set out to let the performance market know they were in the racing field.
The shelves in the E3 booth were lined with boxes of E3’s new line of DiamondFire billet racing distributors, DiamondFire racing spark plug wires, and race coils for Ford Coil on Plug, LS applications, Hemi COP, and even a traditional oil filled can coil.
“These components are developed for the harsh motorsports environment,” said Joiner, “No matter what you race.”
According to company spokesman Rob Fisher, Spark plug wires are often the bottleneck in the ignition system, which is why it was important for the company to design a line of plug wires to maximize the power of the E3 spark plugs. In addition to the low resistance spiral conductor wire, “our plug wires have the highest silicone content rating of any competitive racing wire today,” Fisher said. “This gives you maximum heat protection and performance.”
Of course the company still offers a full range of spark plugs for any application imaginable, including any vehicle on the dirt ovals today. For more information on their line of racing ignition components, visit them online at E3 Ignition Products.
