Mickey Thompson has all the corners covered, figuratively and literally, when it comes to how your car or truck hits the pavement…or dirt! They have an extremely expansive line, and it seems like they’re adding new products constantly. This is because they’re in constant research and development to figure out ways to make their products superior, and they’ve always met that goal with ease. Newly added to their product line are a few things that owners of trucks will want to check out, as well as some tires that made us have to do a double take.
In regard to truck offerings, Mickey Thompson has two new wheels that offer upgraded style and functionality. The SD-5 wheel line is made for truck and Jeep owners, and is a diamond cut faced wheel with milled accents and finished in tough satin black. It also has a customized corrosion resistant center cap with logo. The Sidebiter Lock wheel gets its styling from the revolutionary “tread-on-the-sidewall” tire design that’s called SideBiters. This is a heavy-duty performing wheel with high-range load rating. It’s finished in a tough satin black coating, has an embossed center cap with M/T logo, and will make your Jeep or truck look awesome!
Also new to their catalog is the massive 18-inch wide ET Street S/S drag radial. Denoted on the sidewall as a 31X18.00R15, it is easily the largest drag radial they have ever produced and should provide more than enough traction for most application, pending the fact that you can fit these fat meats under your car. It has the same treat void as the ET Street Radial II, but it has been redesigned for hydroplane resistance, while having plenty of tread for dry driving.
