The Shakedown Nationals is one of the original big outlaw heads-up races and it has been elevated to a new level at Virginia Motorsports Park. Pro Mod racers come to this event ready to run for one of the biggest payouts available each year. The radial tire racers that make the trip to the Shakedown Nationals know they will have an amazing surface to set records on, so they always bring the biggest tune-up they have.

This year the Shakedown Nationals has added the red hot Pro275 class to its lineup and a huge turnout of top-level cars is expected. If that wasn’t enough, the Pro Mod vs RVW Judgment Day Shootout is back again for 2020. This race within a race pits the quickest Pro Mods in the world against the quickest radial tire cars in the world. Last year, the Pro Mods came out on top during Judgment Day so you know the radial tire racers are going to be looking for revenge this year.
