Last Saturday marked the third points event of 2010 for the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods. We’ve got the official release straight from the NEOPMA right here. Check it out for a summary of last weekend’s events.

(6-26-2010) Atco, NJ – The Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods third points event of the 2010 season this past Saturday at Atco Raceway was a huge success with over 24 Pro Mods contesting eight qualifying positions in each of the two classes, Nitrous and Blower/Turbo.
Taking the pole on an extremely hot and humid day in Atco, NJ on the Blower/Turbo side in his 68’ Camaro was Steve King of Strasburg, VA with a 6.19 at 234.82 MPH. Abingdon, MD’s Fredy Scriba qualified number one on the Nitrous side with an incredible 6.08 at 234.74 in his 63’ Sorcerer Corvette.
On the Nitrous side Fredy Scriba with his second win of the year defeated Matt Deitch in round one, 6.081 to a losing 8.10 at 119.17, Vinnie Demieri in round two, 6.040 to a 6.349. The finals were exciting to watch as Fredy Scriba throw’s down a third consecutive 6.0 running a 6.065 at 234.13 to a losing 12.342 at 73.11.
On the Blower/Turbo side, Jim Barker and his Barker Motorsports Team defeated Tommy Gray in round one, 6.180 to a tire shaking 6.798, Frank Patille in round two as both teams struggled to get down the track, 6.650 to a 15.073, and Larry Plummer 6.301 at 204.73 to a tire shaking 6.642 at 143.77.
