To make the most accurate predictions possible, Altronics has packed the PerformAIRE handheld weather station with an advanced air quality computer. The job of this computer is to look at air temperature, absolute barometric pressure, the relative humidity, and the current percentage of oxygen in the air. All of this is used by the computer to calculate important factors like the density altitude and oxygen altitude to generate predicted values.
Besides having the ability to collect weather data, the PerformAIRE is a warehouse of data for your race car that can store information from each run you make. That information is then used to help predict elapsed times, provide throttle stop settings, and help make jet size choices based on what the PerformAIRE has learned. All of these stored runs have the date and time information added to make finding them for reference easier, as well.
