Following the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals in Denver, CO, the John Force Road Show will be on display at the EAA AirVenture, July 25-31 in Oshkosh, WI. EAA AirVenture is a national gathering of aircraft enthusiasts organized by the Experimental Aircraft Association.
Among the Force Road Show cars on display will be a P-51 Mustang Warbird-themed Mustang Funny Car that 15-time world champion John Force raced in Norwalk, OH, as well as four other 7,000+ horsepower Mustang Funny Cars from the JFR stable.
“We have taken the Road Show to NASCAR races and even the Indy 500, but I am really excited to be heading to Oshkosh for the EAA AirVenture air show. There will be over 500,000 people in attendance, and I want them all to come by and take a look at our Road Show,” said Force, who will attend the show on Wednesday, July 27, for a full day of fan appreciation, including an autograph session from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Ford Hangar.
The John Force Road Show will be in the Cruisin’ Legends area of AirVenture. In addition to the five Ford Mustang Funny Cars on display, a P-51 Mustang will be nearby and Jack Roush Racing will have its trailer in the area.
“Our relationship with Ford is a major reason we are coming to 2011 EAA AirVenture for sure, but we also want to spread the gospel for all our sponsors and help grow our sport. I love NHRA Drag Racing, and to have an opportunity to showcase it in front of so many people, I could not pass it up,” added Force.
Force will join Edsel Ford, Jack Roush and Harrison Ford as VIPs for the Ford Fly-In movie theater event on Wednesday night.
