New from Heatshield Products – the Cobra Shield. This product deflects radiant heat away from the surface upon which it is installed, and it won’t delaminate like other foil cloths. See more details below.

Official Release:

Keep the heat in your exhaust system and out of your engine compartment with the Cobra Shield from Heatshield Products.

Cobra Shield is a specially formulated, high-tech thermal barrier designed to deflect radiant heat away from the surface on which it is installed. Heatshield Products uses a proprietary manufacturing process and exclusive chemical-resistant coating, making the Cobra Shield stronger and more abrasion-resistant than comparable laminated cloth thermal barriers. Aluminum particles are molecularly bonded to the base material of the Cobra Shield, unlike the laminate process used by similar products. This also means Cobra Shield won’t delaminate like other laminated aluminum thermal barriers.

Cobra Shield works great when applied to transmission tunnels, the underside of the hood, firewalls and floorpans. It has a continuous max temp rating of 1100 degrees Fahrenheit and intermittent peak temp rating of 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Cobra Shield is also easy to clean.

Heatshield Products has engineered and manufactured heat-barrier products for more than 30 years, serving the performance and racing industry with the highest quality products at competitive prices. The company is family owned and operated, and is proud to make its products in the USA.

Features:

  • Specially formulated aluminized coating won’t delaminate like typical foil cloths
  • Chemical- and weather-resistant coating
  • Greater durability and abrasion-resistance compared to laminated cloth thermal barriers
  • Made in the USA
