LIGHTS OUT 6 BRINGS DOWN THE HOUSE IN GEORGIA
Led by Steve Jackson’s big win in Radial versus The World, Donald Long’s lights Out 6: Buzzin’ The Tower played out in epic fashion in front of a packed house at the South Georgia Motorsports Park over the weekend.
Lights Out 6
Veteran small-tire racer Steve Jackson rolled into Lights Out 6 with a brand new supercharged engine combination in his “Shadow” Ford Mustang, and while he wasn’t the quickest racer in Radial versus The World all weekend, he saved his best for last in the final round opposite of Chris Daniel, clicking off low elapsed time at 4.02-seconds to take the big $20,000 payday. Scott Husted, likewise, did what he had to do each round in Outlaw Radial, eventually downing Marty Stinnett in the final round with a 4.36. In X275, Jared Johnston ran the table with Low ET, Top Speed, was the No. 1 qualifier, and capped it with a defeat of Patrick Clenney in the money round. And Joel Greathouse debuted his new ’93 Mustang in Ultimate Street and put it right in the winner circle from the pole, going 4.92 in the final to oust Mark Rogers.

His teammate, Tony Schumacher, joined him in victory lane after defeating Doug Kalitta by a 3.72 to 3.75 count. And in Pro Stock, Rodger Brogdon scored his third professional victory when he defeated Erica Enders-Stevens in convincing fashion, 6.56 to 6.64, in the final.
