Installing Mr. Gasket Valve Covers On A Gen III Hemi

Gen III Hemi engines have plenty of additional horses that can be unlocked with the right modifications. When you cross a certain bridge with valvetrain upgrades for the Gen III, a new set of valve covers are a requirement and Mr. Gasket has what you need. In this video, Jeremy Stoermer walks you through how to install a set of trick aluminum Gen III Hemi valve covers from Mr. Gasket.

The valvetrain is the brains of an engine — it ensures air moves when it’s supposed to, and dictates how much goes into a cylinder. OEM valve covers only provide so much clearance, so if you make changes to your valvetrain to bigger parts you’re going to need to make some room. These valve covers from Mr. Gasket have a 2.25-inch overall height: a nice improvement over the stock units so there’s plenty of space for big rocker arms.

The installation video that Holley created for these valve covers is very comprehensive. Jeremy Stoermer does a great job walking you through every step of installing these valve covers. You get to see a few tricks on how to make the job easier and avoid any issues during the installation. As a bonus, you also see how to install a set of MSD coils and change the spark plugs on a Gen III Hemi.

Mr. Gasket offers these valve covers in several configurations that fit just about every generation of the Gen III Hemi. You can learn more about these valve covers right here on the Holley website.
