Crash Sequence: Brandon James Unhurt In High-Flying Vegas Incident

Brandon James, Brandon James crash, street outlaws crash

Street Outlaws reality show star Brandon James was uninjured in a scary, acrobatic crash during eliminations at the annual Muscle Cars at The Strip at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday. James, driving his supercharged Chevrolet Nova that was featured in the No Prep Kings series and other franchise spinoff programs on the street, was competing in the event’s small tire category and was well on his way to a round victory when his beautiful machine took flight near the finish line, sailing several hundred feet through the air before crashing down nose-first.

Fortunately, while the damage was devastating for James’ dedicated small-tire and street car, the incident won’t derail his “No Prep Kings” season seven efforts, as he’ll slide back behind the wheel of the Larry Jeffers Race Cars-built 1969 Camaro that he debuted last season.

Brandon James, as fans of the Discovery Channel street-racing franchise will recall, rose to fame overnight when he defeated the nations’ best on big tires to earn $100,000 at Mega Cash Days, filmed in 2020 and aired in 2021. He has since become a household name among Street Outlaws and hardcore drag racing fans, and a key figure in the series’ many spinoffs in the four years since his triumph.
