Event Recap: The 2024 NMCA All-American Nationals

An NMCA event is never short on great racing action or variety of vehicles. The NMCA All-American Nationals rolled into Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio, and provided an outstanding weekend of racing and fun. There were tons of COPO Camaros, Cobra Jet Mustangs, and Drag Pak Challengers on the property for all the specialty races that were held during the event too.

At each NMCA event, Xtreme Pro Mod is the headlining class and it delivers impressive racing. At the All-American Nationals, Pro Mod racing veteran and chassis builder David Monday marched through a tough field to bring home the win. In Nitrous Pro Street, points leader Lenard Grawburg continued to dominate and drove his Camaro to a 4.19 ET in the finals to pick up the victory.

The Factory Super Car class features the fastest COPOs, Cobra Jets, and Drag Paks on the property at every NMCA race. Tony Scott had a solid weekend of racing that helped propel him to the class win. Xtreme Street is the NMCA’s premiere radial tire class, and Dave Fiscus drove his Buick-powered Mustang to the final round and won the event. Multi-time NA 10.5 world champion Leonard Long struggled in qualifying, but ultimately brought home the win in the final round.

If you’re a fan of factory-built hot rods the All-American Nationals is for you. The NMCA adds specialty races to this event for these cars including the Cobra Jet Showdown, COPO Stock/Super Stock class, and COPO Bracket Battle.
