ATTENTION: This Is Not A Joke! The NHRDA is BACK In 2023!

After a several-year hiatus, we are more than happy to announce that the National Hod Rod Diesel Association is back in full swing in the year 2023. Series owner, Randy Cole, said enough is enough and he’s bringing the action back to everyone. For years, the biggest complaint was nobody had diesel drag racing on that side of the world since NHRDA stepped away but here we are, they are back! Their 2023 season will consist of five events and like in the past, include diesel drag racing, sled pulling, and more.

The added announcement that Hot Shot’s Secret has signed on as the title sponsor of the National Hot Rod Diesel Association (NHRDA) series is a great collaboration. Kyle Fischer, Director of Branding and Promotions at Hot Shot’s Secret told us, “We’re happy to see NHRDA return to the diesel competition stage with multiple series’ this year. Our core audience is diesel competitors and enthusiasts, so this is a perfect fit for Hot Shot’s Secret.”

They are slowly releasing more and more information about upcoming events on their Youtube channel. Check out the latest hype video for the first event right here!

As of this writing, NHRDA has announced five events are scheduled for this year. The series will kick off with the Desert Diesel Nationals at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park in Chandler, Arizona. After that, the Nor Cal Diesel Rally at Redding Dragstrip in Redding, California will be a west coast must-attend event. For our friends north of the border, the Canadian Diesel Shootout at Mission Raceway in Mission British Columbia follows, and then the Big Sky Truck Fest at Yellowstone Dragstrip in Billings, Montana will round out the regular season. But as they say on late-night TV, wait, there’s more. The season will culminate with the NHRDA World Finals having competitors from all over the world compete at the Texas Motorplex in Ennis, Texas in the NHRDA World Finals, on September 15 through 17.

NHRDA

Per the Outlaw Diesel Super Series awards banquet, there are talks to do an NHRDA versus Outlaw Diesel Super Series World Finals faceoff down in Texas at the end of the year to truly see who the best racers are. Stay tuned to DieselArmy.com as we will be bringing more updates to you on where you can expect the action to happen.
