Get The Party Started: LSX Hosts Fifth Annual Valley Of Fire Cruise

It’s almost that time of year again. Holley’s LS Fest West is just around the corner, and we could not be more excited. Of course, Las Vegas is known for its lights, music, shows, and parties. But every spring, thousands of automotive enthusiasts flock to Sin City to participate in the first of three all-LS/LT multi-day extravaganzas hosted by Holley. This also means we are gearing up for the annual Valley Of Fire Cruise, where we get to drive through beautiful scenery alongside some amazing vehicles.

Before the weekend festivities get started, LSX Magazine is once again hosting the Valley Of Fire Cruise on Thursday, April 27, to kick things off. The cruise allows participants to get away from the hustle of Las Vegas and take a relaxing cruise through the Valley of Fire state park. The scenery is nothing short of breathtaking. The bright red, gray, and tan limestone formations offer the perfect backdrop to the twisty, winding roads.

The Valley Of Fire Cruise is a great time to meet up with other enthusiasts, see all makes and models of LS- and LT-swapped vehicles, and check out one of Nevada’s most beautiful state parks. LSX staff will be on hand to meet everyone, photograph/video the event, and lead the cruise.

A few things to note if you would like to attend. The cruise participants will meet at Las Vegas Motor Speedway at 3:00 pm before departing at 4:00 pm to drive out to the Valley of Fire. This event is open to anyone that would like to attend, and you are only responsible for the small fee required to enter the state park. It is $10.00 for Nevada residents and $15.00 for non-residents. The visitor center will be closed when we arrive, so please remember to bring the exact amount.

Once inside the Valley of Fire state park, we will continue the cruise up to the White Domes, where we will park and take a short break to hang out, socialize, hike, and check out the cars before heading back into Las Vegas. We hope you will make plans to get to Las Vegas a day early and join us on April 27 for what has become a tradition of kicking off LS Fest West. Let’s make the 2023 Valley Of Fire Cruise the largest one yet. For more information on hiking, camping, and trail maps, visit the Valley of Fire website here.
